if you are still considering between cadet blue and diamond silver i think you are better off with cadet blue. I got mine about 10 days ago and it is really great. I havent seen a diamond silver but im pretty sure its close to brilliant silver. Best part i havent seen a cadet blue yet!!! (and trust me i see alot of benzes in my area)
does anybody on the forum own a diamond silver clk and be willing to post some pics? im sure that will help him out greatly

2005 CLK320
I'll be picking up my Diamond Silver Clk by the end of next week. I ordered in August and had considered the Cadet Blue but for some reason the color did not impress me at the time. Now i'm kinda regretting it. I hope the Diamond Silver turns out well or I'll be pretty bummed. I'm alreayd regretting not getting a 500. But at least its fully loaded.

To jyg E500 maybe....
Yes I had to bring the car in after 800 miles to get an alignment. As far as the 7sp is concerned...nice toy!! If you want smooth place it on "C" and you get smoooth. If you want the torque w/ no work place it on "S".
If you want to have fun, then shift with the steering levers...1,2,3,4,5,6 & S or C....took a few minutes to get used to. Someone in this forum wrote that you can't downshift with these levers and that is totally untrue. You can shift or downshift from either lever....
Ultimately, I think the 05 gives you some better value, tweaks and features....

Re: diamond silver
my dealer in Laguna Niguel says they sell well over 25% of all cars in Brilliant Silver. The diamond silver is very nice as well, has more darker/bluer colors in the metallic paint - the upside is that those colors wear so well and always look clean. The downside is that it's become the MB "default" and they are common.

I also think the 05 does offer better value, especially with the DVD Command, which made me pass up a comparable 2004 clk500 to my specs - even with maintenance included on that '04.
