Hello and as the title suggest, I'd like to add bluetooth to my CLK. I've searched and searched and can't seem to get a direct answer/result. I have a 2004 with Bose system (single-din) radio, and would like a bluetooth kit someone can suggest or guide me to. I want to retain the original look and am not in the market to replace with aftermarket unit. I simply want to add BT and need info on my options. Much appreciated.....

Are you talking about factory bluetooth kit? This enables calling only. No music. Your 2004 model is pre-facelift and uses the older D2B system. If so, refer to this reddit post:

I do have the D2B system...... Looks like I'm SOL since most of the vendors that built a BT system for the D2B are no longer available. I appreciate the feedback though.....

If you're only trying to add bluetooth and not change anything else, I did use a BT/FM modulator for a bit. Worked well for phone calls and music.

I later replaced it all though, as the stock sub didnt work, and a couple speakers were blown (that way when I bought it).

you can tap into the tape player for an aux input and connect a bluetooth kit to the aux input. I have the himbox bluetooth kit and sounds better than the factory cd changer. Fm modulators work but got alot of static noise and lose connection sometimes.

I also have 2004 clk500 with single tape deck radio.
