Are our outside mirrors heated?

I woke up and their was like fog or whatever its called on my outside mirrors and my back window. Well I pressed the defogger for the back window and within minutes it went away. But my outside side mirrors took 12 minutes to even begin going away and it looked like they were going away only because I started driving not because it was heated. If they are not heated I am dissapointed. My cousins 1996 ford taurus has heated mirrors.
