Replacing door panel challenge
Replaced the power window switch on 2008 CLK. A few green clips broke when using upholstery puller tools. Purchased replacements and installed.
I “dropped” the panel onto the top lip so it is secure and snug like when I took it off. I can slide to align with a little effort.
However, I’m having a difficult time aligning the green clips to the holes. Any pointers or common reasons why this would be so difficult?

there is a clip in the middle to the right of the handle that is a pain to get it but the card wont fit right till it is in there. just got to shimmy up and down while pressing in on the center of the card.

Clip
This is the piece that fits into a square hole about an inch x inch, right? I wiggled it to place once before. I think I may need to just keep wiggling it once inside there to get things to line up. Had to order more clips because those green clips are flimsier than I expected and snap off quickly if you’re not careful. Thanks for the advice. Everything was simple about installing the new PW switch until reattaching the door!
