Coolant issue

I replaced my radiator because it leaked from a crack in the plastic at 190k miles on January 1 2021. I drove 400 miles in 1 trip and the top radiator hose came off so I replaced the hose and clips. So another 2000 miles of driving and the lower radiator hose came off, I don't know if it matters but its 2 degrees outside here in Memphis right now, so I checked it out reinstalled the same on and filled it. I couldn't get it to blow warm air no matter how long I ran it with the cap off then this morning while trying to purge it the lower hose came back off. I don't smell exhaust in the tank either... Any suggestions please??? I love this car and would like to keep it running right but if its something too costly I don't know what I'll do. Thanx!

Did you apply vacuum to the system as part of the fill process? Something is causing pressure enough to blow those hoses off, so either they are not secured property, or there is too much pressure. If you have air pockets, those can overheat and cause sudden steam events once coolant is introduced. I don't know if this is exactly what's happening but the fill process involves drawing a vacuum on the system.
