Rear Right Window Stuck

Hello, I have a 2007 CLK 350, and the rear ride window (passenger quarter window) is stuck. Right now it is about half way down and can be moved by hand up or down about 2 inches. It wont go all the way down and cannot be brought all the way up. The window button doesn't move it and it makes a crunchy/grinding noise when operated. I've watched a few videos on how to get to the window regulator, but they all only take out the first layer, none show how to actually get to the regulator. Also it seems like I have to take a part a whole lot of pieces just to get to it.

If my only option is to take apart nearly the entire backseat of my car, I might as well fix the whole problem, but if it takes less work to be able to just bring it up somehow and leave it that way, I will settle for that.

Anyone had this issue before? Anyone know what might be wrong and/or how to fix it? Any info appreciated. Thanks!

It is very common problem.
Here is how to fix it: https://mbworld.org/forums/clk-class...ndow-pics.html (i fixed mine for about $45, but it's labor intensive process)
. The process almost identical between coupe and convertible.
I think to bring it up you're going to need remove some panels to get access to the window itself and the pull it up, I'd imagine to make it stay up your are going to need to wedge it somehow.

Thanks! I seen that one before but It was a tad uneasy to follow. Anyways, I was able to get the regulator out without having to dismantle the seat itself. Only the side panel was removed.

I bought the repair kit. Now my question is, when I put together the cables, does the position have to be window being fully raised?

Nice!
I don't remember exactly (it was about 5 years ago), but I don't think it's necessary where to leave the window, unless it's blocking window regulator bolts. Just in case here is a picture of my assembled regulator.
