Spark Plugs
My 2004 CLK320 (purchased new) is getting on to 100K miles. Mercedes recommends spark plug replacement. The car runs great, very smooth at idle. Should I let sleeping dogs lie or follow the book?

I would do it. It's a very simple and inexpensive maintenance item. An easy DIYer.

Spark plugs are incredibly easy (I did it quickly in my apartment carport, and I'm no expert). Might as well clean the throttle body a bit and the MAF while you're in there.

generally change mines every 20.000 / 30.000 kms, and for me the best ones are the original ones, with other brands... never get so smooth like mb plugs, maybe expensive, but in my opinion they worth the price
