w209 CLK55 steering wheel part number

could someone verify?

this should be the w209 CLK55 AMG steering wheel with the paddle shifts

230 460 1403 9C29

No. The 05 CLK500 steering wheel gearshift is different to the CLK55.
The 05 CLK500 wheel has toggle switches that BOTH toggle up and down whereas the CLK55 has one switch for upshifts and one switch for downshifts.
This operation description is from the 05 brochure on the MBUSA website.
The code number for the 05 CLK500 steering wheel with toggle switches is 428 it is a EURO 200 option but is standard on USA spec cars.
You can not have the gearshift buttons with the wood / leather st wheel option or on CLK320.

thanks for the info, but i think you've misunderstood my question... im not asking for the option number, but the part number of the steering wheel itself..

I realise that you were asking for the part number, I am just letting you know that is not the same as the CLK55.
If you decide which one you now want someone may be able to give you the part number.
Maybe the post should have been on the CLK55 forum.
