How Are You All Getting Phone Calls/Music From Your Phone?

Given that these cars are pretty old, the pre-facelift does not have any ipod or iphone integration at all other than the COMAND equipped cars having an AUX cable.

I am curious how everyone is getting music/phone calls from their phone, and what product they are using.

The car I am hopefully buying does not have COMAND, so I am either going to try to install an AUX cable as a quick fix or I will try to install bluetooth somehow.

Please share what you have done to get phone calls and music in your CLK!

The wife is out with the car, so I can't check, but I believe I purchased a Blue Parrot a number of years ago. It took the disk changer's place. Instructions are in this forum. The car is a 320CLK so I ran the mic wire up the a-arm & into the SOS console. Bonds via blutooth. Works fine though with the wife rarely uses it.

I've just been using AUX. I have a wireless iPhone charger mount so at least it's just one cable to plug in and the audio quality is as good as it can be. The one big thing missing for me is buttons for skip/previous track so I mostly rely on Siri for that.

Problem is I do not have AUX (Nor COMAND)

I know it is easy to install AUX, but I believe you have to pull the radio.

On the flipside I am hoping there is a product I can just use instead of the CD player without taking apart the dash to get bluetooth streaming, or USB connection. Is there any product like that?

I did find something below, says it replaces CD player

Amazon Amazon
or this one below, much cheaper but does not say where it plugs in (so I assume behind the radio)
Amazon Amazon
