Hello forum . I hope you are well; i have a problem with my clk200 w209 year 2004.
in the morning when i started my car and select parking to drive there was a knock .i did not give notice , but when i drove and stopped somewhere then start again and select drive the symbols for transmition their were not shown on the dashboard.. and the car was in limb mode.when i was in drive icould not go to park. i had to switch of car in ordet to select park.
i used those scanners similar with the original wurth wow .the codes i got where P1856 selector lever position detection has failed and P240c CAN signal from selector lever position from esm control module implusible/ intermittent and 205A Faults stored in component transmition control interminttent .
what i did so far... I changed transmition oil and conductor plate because the connector was broken and oil went all the way until tcu module.
I inspect and dismantle valve body ...it was fine and i installed conductor plate with connector .
i took shifter to a specialist and told me that the shifter was ok ... i am not sure about that...i cleaned scart connector with maf cleaner contaminated externally with oil.. tcu was not affected internally..But still problem persists. can anyone help me please..
