CLK550 Tires

I know there have been countless threads on tires for our cars, and I'm also aware of the accelerated wear on rear tires - but here's where I need the group's recommendations.
I'm currently running Pirelli P-Zero's on my '08 CLK 550. While I've gotten good wear, and the ride is "OK" (a bit harsh), the noise is terrible.
Has anyone had experience with tires that don't create so much noise you have to run the audio at "10"? (not really, but you get my meaning)
I have Michelin Ice-X that I run in the winter, the Pirelli's in summer.

Thanks!

Mike

Mbgator,

tons of passionate replies will be sent.

agree, never liked the Pirelli tires. Get noisy as the tires wear. I guess all tires do that.

I run Michelin pilot sport A/S
