I have a 2005 to CLK 500 design O convertible bought it about 5 months ago great car has over 200000 miles had all the service records done on it and yesterday yesterday after driving at home it would not come out of drive or neutral and could not be put into park 2 so turned off the car and set the alarm and then unset the alarm and Got the car to start because it would not start either parked.
the next day started car drove it, came home,And again the car would not go into park once it was in drive it would only go to neutral I noticed when I took my foot off of the brake pedal it would go into park so I turned off the vehicle. I restarted the vehicle and put the car back into drive and noticed when my foot is applied on the brake pedal it would not come out of neutral or drive and would not go into park Unless I released my foot off brake petal.
please help
