Radio volume changes dramatically with speed

I have noticed that the radio volume drops dramatically when I put on the brakes, or slow as I come off the freeway. I know that the Bose system makes some adjustment for vehicle speed, but this seems excessive (i.e., I find myself turning up the volume manually). Anyone have any thoughts on this?

yeah its the computer system. go to the dealer and they should be able to change it. i just did mines. i thought i was just hearing things but the comp lowers the volume to adjust for road noise.

Aaah this sounds all to familiar.

Make a appointment with the dealer to have them disable the speed sensitive volume control. They will connect via a computer and disable the feature. It takes less then 10 minutes. Unless you have a aftermarket stereo.
