'09 CLK550 Center Console Top Cover Surround Removal
I want to recover the top cover that surrounds the sliding top on the center console that's located between the 2 front seats. But I can't get it off the console assembly. Was able to remove the whole console assembly and then the rear AC vent assembly. I've seen photos of the cover and it looks like there are compression clips and screws but I can't figure out how to get to the screws. I've you've come up with a solution or ideas, please post. Thanks
Here's a photo of the armrest surround showing the underside. There are 6 screw holes and compression clips. Still can figure out how to access these 6 screws.
