I have a 2005 CLK 500 and as of recently the radiator fan is always on, which comes on about 10 seconds after I turn on the car and stays on until I shut the engine. Couple things worth mentioning: last year my AC compressor seized and tore my belt. In an effort to make it home without doing a costly tow and repair, I ended up buying a slightly shorter belt and bypassed the compressor completely. Figured I would live without AC until I get around to repairing it. Cars been running fine until now. Also, I am always getting a low coolant error on the dash even after I keep topping off, so Im assuming there's a small coolant leak but I have yet to identify where. Not sure if any of these factors are playing into my fan always running. I have the iCarSoft MBII is there anything I can do to help diagnose this issue? Thanks in advance.
