Transmission Gear Shifter Suddenly not Shifting
I got in my car tonight. Fired her up and go to shift. I hear a faint “boing” and suddenly the shifter is completely limp.
There have been no slippage or transmission issues since I have owned it. It has 90k on it. Any thoughts?
I don’t race it. I don’t drive hard. I baby it. The shifter has no positive shift feeling when changing gears as if a cable has come loose or something stupid broke off the shifter. When shifting the RPMs do not change and there is no engagement.
Any help is appreciated.
