Hello all
I was wondering does the new 209 have an opening from the trunk to the interior cabin.
is there are airflow like the 350z or c6? if not is it possible to make this happen by cutting a prt of the car.
I need to know this because i am only insterested in buying a car that will sound good with woofers

can you explain this to me in detail a little.
what exactly is the ski package? and by the reaer deck do you mean the back of the passenger seats where mercedes usually keeps its first aid kit?

It depends if you want a sealed box (tight bass) or a ported box (louder bass).
If you go ported you get the ski package which is a hole in the center arm rest where you fit ski’s in your trunk. Must cars have or can come with this package. Imagine a black rubber bag in the middle of your back seat covered by a piece of plastic. Once you get that option just remove the ski bag and build your box so the port aims into the cabin.
If you go sealed box the rear deck is empty. What I mean is behind the rear passengers head rests have “BOSE” grills that are empty. The air can flow from the trunk through the rear deck.
If you want a car with a lot of bass potential get a G class. You can fit 4 12” JL’s with ease and still have room for the luggage. The C6 and 350 are different cars then the CLK.
