Replace a battery on CLK350

Replace a battery on CLK350
Any suggestions on replacing the battery on 2007 CLK350 CAB. Are there systems that have to be resent once power is restored?
Thanks. Battery cost $200 at the dealer but to have it installed. adds another $350 !!

1 Set time in instrument cluster
2 Normalize windows...All the way down and hold for 5 seconds, all the way up and hold for 5 seconds, on all four windows.
3 Activate steering angle sensor. With engine running, turn steering lock to lock
4 Normalize sliding roof if you have one
5 normalize electric seats if fitted, Move each movement end to end
3, 4, 5 are not normally needed depending on how long battery has been disconnected.
I think $350 is a bargain to do all that work

Replacing front Battery
My mechanic sent me to Batteries Plus. They installed a new battery for $7.00!! They used a backup to keep electronic settings during installation. All went smoothly with NO hitches! (2005 CLK 320 Cab)
