Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has experience with late model (ie. 2008/2009) model year CLKs. Do the usual CLK issues of HVAC vent stepper motors, window regulators and other electronic gremlins still show up much or were things revised by then to stop these issues from popping up?

Have a '09 550, bought it new. I've had none of those issues. I've had normal wear items such as: replaced motor mounts, starter, oil filter cooler housing, transmission pan, Acc. Belt Idler Pully, Tensioner Assy and Serp. Belt, hood support struts, spark plugs, front side marker lamp assemblies, sway bar links twice, Front Upper/lower Control Arm Bushings and at same time added eccentric bolts that allow for wheel alignment adjustment of Caster and Camber in addition to toe, torsion bar & front struts most recently. Replacing the torsion bar, struts, shocks, sway bar links and motor/trans mounts brought it back to the ride/sound of a new CLK. Houston roads are a rough ride. Also repaired cracks in the front wheels 3 times each.
Wow Houston roads must really eat the suspension! How many km have you got on it?
