Valet trunk key won't work on '04 CLK320 Cab
My '04 CLK320 has Keyless Go. When I remove the steel valet key from the Smartkey and try to manually lock the trunk using the keyhole under the deck lip, I can't get it to lock. I took it to the dealer and they said that MB disabled the manual locking feature on the later '04s and the '05s. Has anyone else experienced this? The center console locks fine with the steel key,
