Lug Nuts question please help

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone of you know the size of the lugnuts that we have on our clk500s. I am buying a new set of lug nuts and wanted to make sure I have the right specifications on lug nuts. I think on CLK500s they are

12x1.5 conical lug bolt

If i were to purchase a new set of lug nuts, is that all the info i need or are there other things I need to know before I can buy?

You're not necessarily going to use the same length for your new wheels - I had to use longer ones with my rims.

Lug Nuts

I have a 2002 clk320, I just bought new amg rims from a 2005 e55.. The lug patterns fit, it seems that I may either need short lug nuts or a spacer. Which is a better route to go? And is that normal?

You'll need to ask on the w208 forum. this is the w209 forum 2003+ clks. Also be mroe clear about your problem. Why is it that you may need shorter lugnuts or spacers?

I assume you mean because your new wheels are a different design that have less metal at the mounting point. If that is the case, you absolutely want new bolts. Don't introduce spacers unless you must based on whether the wheel rubs somewhere - not because of the need for longer bolts. Just make sure the new bolts have the correct head - cone or round.
