clk 220 Battery Drain
Good morning guys i have a 2007 clk 220 d for some reason the battery drains after a couple of weeks ive fitted new battery still same problem ive taken it to 3 auto electricians and they say they cannot find any fault ( ( parasitic test ) they say there is no drop when battery fully charged , i have a feeling its the seat belt presenter on passenger side as it sometimes presents even though no one is sitting on the seat ?. can i disable the presenters by pulling a fuse or do i have to find the module and disconnect those. I know there are other more detailed threads on this issue but I was able to identify a parasitic drain that originated from the in-dash CD player (not Command). When I press the eject button on the CD, the motor that spins the CD runs even when there is no CD in the radio and the key is not in the ignition. If I press the eject button a second time, the motor stops. You need a very quiet environment to hear if the motor is running.

Good morning from Cyprus well great news the problem has been solved for future reference the problem was the overhead dome light unit which ive seen on Utube is quite a common fault so 200 euros new unit plus fault finding and fitting .
