CLK 500 lower radiator hose #2095012982 impossible to find
Hi everyone,
I bought a 2004 CLK 500 convertible with 125 000 miles and immediately proceeded to making it as reliable as possible. I completed all services, replaced parts I read were problematic including the crank position sensor, cam position sensor, voltage regulator, vacuum lines, MAF seals, etc.
Everything was going well until I found out that the lower radiator hose I ordered was not right. I verified and yes, I got the part I ordered (fits the illustration), it looks right at first glance but the larger bottom hose has a different shape. I contacted my local MB dealer and they told me the right part for my car, serial number ending with 4T012726, is P/N 2095012982 which is no longer available. I asked what they would do if my car came in for service, he said "Nothing" !!??
Has this happened to anyone here? I looked at everywhere online and can't find this part number! Thanks!

Parts for Older MBZ
[
Autohaus AZ and FCPEuro may be able to help. Unfortunately, if not, you'll have to try the junkyards or CoParts or Pick-A-Part. As the modern-era cars become older, parts become very scarce, since there's more money in selling a new car obviously. Good Luck!

Thanks for replying MrChanlyn, the part I got was from Autohaus and didn't fit because of a Canadian / American car difference issue. The only difference only seems to be the angle at which the hose connects to the block, so maybe I could upgrade the connector. For now I found O-rings for the existing hose so I should be OK for a while...
