Transmission issues
Good Evening all.
I'm at a loss... can anyone help me? Please.
2004 CLK240 (722.6 Transmission)
I have bought a project car that starts and runs beautifully but will not go into gear.
Select R or D and no go!
Select N and give some throttle and it will slowly move forward,
I have replaced the connector on the Transmission and drained / replaced the transmission oil.
Today I replaced the valve body, conductor plate and solenoids.
Still no GO!
What next???
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Considering you replaced the valve body/conductor plate/solenoids, were they coded to your car ?
If you did, you might just need an adaptations reset. There are tutorials on how to do it with the pedals, but if you want to be more thorough, do it through your diagnostic tool.
