722.6 Transmission Issues advice needed
No fault codes on dash
It’s a Mercedes Benz CLK 2004 with 722.6 gearbox
In low gears, normally 1/2/3 the shifts are jerky.
Sometimes when you start the car, you can’t manually shift it and it’s in “limp mode” where it only revs up to around 2k rpm
The other day, I was driving gently and the car went out of gear by itself. I turned off the car, waited 2 mins and started again, it fixed itself.
I THINK it needs a new conductor plate, and may also be the solenoids.if this is the issue I also want the overlap control sleeves changed if needed.
Do you guys think doing the above will fix the problem, and should I change the solenoids also?
