Question on Brabus Kit and 320 and 500 kit

Hi everbody, first of all, I am new to this forum and would like to say hello and thank everybody that's reading this post and answering my question. I recently purchased a CLK500 and am thinking about getting a Brabus Kit (the K8 kit). My questions are as follows:

1. There is a guy that wants to purchase my front and rear bumper.
A. He wants to know if the side skirts are the same on the 320 and 500.
B. He would also like to know if the rear bumper is the same on the 320 and 500. I just didn't know how to answer him so I would appriciate your help.

2. When getting the Brabus kit for my car, should I just get the front bumper? From looking at the pictures, the rear bumper on the Brabus kit looks almost the same as the stock rear bumper. The only difference is the exhaust. But that is a Brabus exhaust, and I don't think I want to get a new exhaust. What do you guys think? Will it look good with just the front Brabus K8 bumper?

3. My next question is about rims. I really like the Brabus Monoblock VI. I am thinking about 19" but after reading around the forum and asking people i'm under the impression that it won't look good unless I lower my car. There are a few reasons why I don't want to lower my car. It will void the warranty and from what I have read, it will be a rougher ride.

4. Replica vs. Authentic. I've read so many posts discussing this topic, but can't get over the price difference. I do consulting and I know that branding really effects price. A lot of the items you see on the shelves are made by one manufacturer with different brands on them and with different pricing. I'm just wondering if that is the case with rims? I've heard that replicas costs around $1500 (with tires) while authentics costs $6000 (with tires). That is a huge difference. What do you guys think?

Thanks again guys,
Paul

Brabus K8 Bumper

Also, does the Brabus K8 front bumper have fog lights? From the pictures i've seen it doesn't look like they have fog lights.

Thanks agian,
Paul

The sideskirts and rear bumber are not the same on the 320 and 500. Just the front brabus bumper looks nice I think, the rear is too similar.VI's look nice but there are so many replicas out there. Yes, lowered looks better, and should not void the warranty except for the suspension portion. As for replica vs authentic, depends on you. You are paying for the branding. replicas look almost exactly the same. Some same replica is worse quality which is arguable. If you are getting multipiece rims, there is more difference but the brabus multipiece are not that strong either.

thanks everyone

Thank you to everyone who has replied. My friend with the CLK320 now also wants a Brabus kit. He was wondering if the Front/Rear bumper in the Brabus kit will look nice with his 320 side skirts? Has anyone installed a Brabus W209 kit on the 320? If so, can you send pictures? Thanks again.
