Convertible windows overlap
I just bought a 2001 CLK 320 convertible. The previous owner had someone try to break in, so the metal and rubber trim on the driver's side rear window was damaged badly enough I can't raise my window if the rear window is up. The shredded rubber stops it! Worse, if the convertible top is down and I roll up both windows, they overlap so when I close the driver's side door, the windows slam hard enough to eventually break one!
I found something else today. I rolled up both rear windows and the passenger side is very tight on its frame - the driver's side rear window isn't! So before I start tearing my car apart, I thought I'd ask if you have some info. Thanks so much!
