2006 CLK 350 Windshield washer nozzle repair
I am new to this forum after searching many other forums for some thoughts on removing the plastic housing on the hood to repair a broken windshield washer hose and verify that the nozzles are working as expected. The pump works, and I have plenty of pressure at the line when it goes into the hood under the removable cover. When I reconnect everything, I get washer fluid spraying all of the engine compartment, so it is not the pump. It is the line under the cover. According to one site, there are three Hex head screws that need to be removed. After removing them, the cover should pull up and allow me access to the hoses and nozzles. However, that is not the case. The assembly is still held in place by some other fasteners. Does anyone have a video or instructions on the removal of this access cover?
Thanks, Roy
