So I made the mistake of putting a cell phone holder that is held by connecting to the vent blades. Well, they’ve all popped out. So now I want to replace the round vent. Now I know the two ones on the far left and far right sides they have these special clips you just pulled them out and the whole thing pulls forward but the center ones seem to be a nightmare and I can’t find, any videos or explanation on how to pull out the center ones on the dash.
Does it come out as an entire unit or can you individually remove the left or right circle? I call them I don’t see how. Also, I have a replacement that I purchased. The main face plate is missing so is that how it works when you remove the face plate where the knobs are to open and close events and then that gives you access to remove the entir unit.

I found the answer it took me 15 min to replace my vents...
The cent pad with dials is a pry off system . Use a credit card 1st to start the pry then good pry tools (plastic) gentle pry it off slowly and it pop off.
So easy DO NOT DRILL. ..the pad that is a pop off can be purchased if the tabs break
