supercharger change oil / strange sound

Hello everyone,

I have a 2004 Mercedes CLK 200 Kompressor (C209). I've heard and read that the oil from the compressor (supercharger) also needs to be changed. So, when it was time for the service, I decided to change the oil in the supercharger as well (along with the usual service - filters, including the fuel filter, and engine oil), and that's when the problems started.

I went to a service center - they removed the supercharger, dismantled it to drain all the old oil from it (it had an unpleasant smell), and I added a 118ml bottle of ACDelco Supercharger Oil 10-4041.

Shortly after leaving the service, the check engine light came on on the dashboard, and the supercharger started making a noise, a sort of clanking sound (similar to the one in this video
).

Also, sometimes when I start it, it shakes a few times, after which the engine runs normally.

I connected the diagnostic tester and got the error "P0172 - Automatic adaptation of fuel mixture formation. The mixture is too rich in partial load range", but also another error "Mixture formation adaptation at the maximum concentration limit (Engine tendency towards 'lean').

I don't know if these errors are due to the supercharger oil or because dismantling the compressor requires half of the engine to be disassembled and something wasn't done correctly:

So, I conducted a series of investigations to eliminate possible causes:
  • Since I also changed the fuel filter, I thought that maybe the error and the check engine light could be coming from there; I changed the fuel filter again.
  • I changed the compressor oil again - I used Mercedes - Supercharger Fluid A000989620110 - about 80 ml. When I dismantled the compressor for the second time, the oil I initially used from ACDelco had metal particles in it.
  • I changed the spark plugs.
  • I changed some vacuum hoses.
  • I changed the gaskets from the intake manifold.
  • The airflow meter is clean and provides values within parameters, as does the lambda sensor.
What advice do you have to help me solve this problem? If the supercharger is compromised and I get a second-hand one, I don't know if I should change its oil or leave it as it is... Do you think the P0172 error is still from the supercharger or what else could I check?

Although the check engine light is on and there's that sound from the supercharger, the engine runs smoothly and the car drives well, only sometimes (rarely) it shakes for a few seconds when starting.

Thank you for your help, any suggestion is useful to me.

Best regards!
