Finally installed sway bars

I've been wanting to install upgraded sway bars on my 2009 CLK350 for some time now. I finally did it over the weekend and it really improved the handling. It feels very balanced now with no noticeable understeer, but I'm still playing to get a good feel for it. On the front I went with H&R 26mm and on the rear I installed Whiteline 22mm which appeared to be the favorite combination over in the W203 world.

Front
H&R 26mm P/N 70392 Stock front 23mm
Rear
Whiteline 22mm P/N BMR99 Stock rear 17mm

Installation was pretty simple but I did have to step up the 10mm mounting holes to 12mm for the sway bar links, probably due to the sport suspension. Other than that, easy stuff. As far as I can tell these fit all of the W209's and most of the W203's. The front H&R sway bar was easy to locate but the rear Whiteline took a little more time to find. But it was worth the effort I think.

When you say the handling has improved has it become more sharp? Is the understeer drastically improved?

Yes, the improvement is pretty dramatic. It's only been a week but I've been progressively pushing harder into some of my favorite curves and it's tight. No understeer noted yet, but I'm sure it's out there if I look hard enough. Power on oversteer is now available upon request. Definitely more fun even though the most aggressive driving I usually do is performing the famous Texas pot hole avoidance maneuver.
