Did you guys read in the Consumer Reports Buyer's Guide where they describe the CLK as a C class coupe?...notwithstanding the fact that under their description of the C class itself, they also say they have a coupe version...meaning that little hatchback.
They should have described it as an e class coupe based on the c class platform....wouldn't you agree? I just parked next to an E 320, and the similarities were overwhelming.
MB was also hammered on all of its reliability ratings, regardless of class.
