2007 CLK-350 Driver's side rear window doesn't go down fully - new battery
It goes down about an inch then stops.
It does the same thing with front, rear, and top down switch.
I believe this condition prevents the convertible top from fully going down.
I recently installed a new battery and then this started happening.
I tried holding the window button down and up for 10s to reset position but it didn't help.
I also removed the 4 window fuses (21, 22, 32,33) and started the car. Replaced the fuses and still have the same issue with the rear window.
The subwoofer has also stopped working after battery replacement.
Could it all be related to the battery replacement?
Is there a reset button or code to use after replacing the battery?
Is there a reasonably priced code scanner that I could buy for diagnosis on convertible top and other issues for this model?
Thanks,
Gil
