Key Battery Dead

Folks, I have a keyless-go, and I get a "Battery Low" error. Does the key's battery recharge by inserting it in the ignition? I never do this since I have a kekless-go. I know this is how some other cars work. Otherwise, do I need to go the dealer to get the battery replaced?

i dont believe that inserting the key into the ignitiion will charge the key batteries. i would just goto radio shack, and buy 2 - 2025 batteries. i think at the dealership they are at least $5 each. at radio shack they are about $2 something. inside the owner manual, it tells you how to remove the batteries. takes me less then a minute to replace the batteries.
