W209 SOS Malfunction Fix
Hello everyone,
I have a 2005 clk500 that had the dreaded sos malfunction light due to, I suspect, it being on the older cellular setup. After months of trying I was finally able to find a fix to disable the popup for good.
Using a scan tool that can do coding (I used the launch creader elite v2), go to the EIS module > variant coding > Emergency Call > Set to Not Present
Please back up your coding every time before you mess with the coding as I made the fatal mistake when messing with the srs module as it now has a "faulty coding" code and my current scan tool cant execute the "Initial Startup" feature to fix it.
