Stumped

Hi guys. On my 2006 CLK500 ESP popped up on my dash then went away. ABS, SRS went out, low brakes warning came up, code P0600, no speedometer and no communication warning came up. Checked fuses, no power to 40amp fuse in engine compartment and no power to 40amp fuse in trunk. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Failed CAN. That is what it was in two of my cars (one a 2011, one a 2004) after many miles. Replacement CAN is easy to find and really not too costly from the dealership.

Update. Turns out the whole system glitched. I disconnected the battery for 30min, hooked it back up and my x-mas tree dashboard went back to normal.

My car once did the same thing, only once, and it was the very old battery it had, that caused weird behaviors when the car was not driven for a few days. It was a 7-year old battery, so it was replaced (was already planned), and never did it again after that. It was 4 years ago.
