Good afternoon all. I own a 2008 CLK550. I've had it since 2010. My HVAC controller seems to be malfunctioning. Sometimes it works just fine, other times I can hear the blower doors begin to move and it will stop blowing through the dash vents, and through the floor and defrost vents. After a few minutes, it'll switch back. This is a summer-use car only, so I don't know if the same occurs with the heat selected.
So - any recommendations, or do any of you know of a source to either; rebuild my original unit, or replace with a used/remanufactured unit.

I had a similar issue and it was the black circular sun sensor that sits at the top of the hood inside the grill part. Kept getting the following code when scanning the car: B1340 - Communications Error of AC bus with component: B32/2 (ACC sun sensor).

Thank you for the reply - what was the final fix? Replace the sun sensor, clean, etc?
