Arm rest storage

Are we supposed to have a light in either the upper or lower armrest/center console storage areas?

It's airconditioned??? I know there are vents for the back seat but none inside the console. Is there a light in yours?

Mine only has one very dim light in the storage area, nothing in the top part where the UHI is, don't think there is supposed to be one there anyway.

As for the a/c on the storage, you can also adjust the blower to make it cooler.

Cheers,
Ho

Thanks Kaiju, I don't think US car have any lighting in the lower or upper arm rest storage area...surprising for an MB especially a 500.

wow... that's pretty stupid for Merc not to have that since it's on other spec cars, but to be honest, it's really dim, not the same as in the glove box where you can see things when it's on. It is the same light bulb as you will find on the door lights... the small rectangle shaped light on the bottom of the door.

Cheers,
Ho

It's not the same, it's an LED so that it can be on all the time. That's why it is dimmer.

that's right, it's an LED in the centre console... so the ones on the doors are not LEDs, thought it was
