Air condition smell

I know this is quite a common topic, but lately the sour smell from the AC is getting quite unbearable. I've read somewhere its due to the mold/mildew in the condenser and I could get rid of it by spraying a mildew killer into the A/C intake areas while running the A/C at full blast. Question, can someone point me to this area? Has anyone done this and what killer did you use? Thanks!

Have your dealer research this as it's a common issue to 2003 and some 2004 W209's; the problem stems from the drain tray not being angled back properly therefore not allowing the condensation to drain completely causing the smell. The dealer can try and reangle the tray or he can get the updated one, it also comes with a redesigned filter.

Thanks Fellas. Appreciate your help.
Is the Air intake in the passenger side under the glove compartment?

Don't waste your time with these temporary treatments, go to the dealer as I indicated above and the problem will be gone for good!
