NAV for w208 55
Hi everyone,
This is my first post. I am receiving delivery of a 02 CLK55 next week. I could't find one with NAV and want it. Should I go aftermarket (Alpine) or get the Command put in. I also heard of people putting the ML NAV in, appearently it fits. What would you guys advise, or would you not bother at all. Thank you, and by the way I've been viewing the forum for a while it has already been very helpful.
P.S. you can call me M1 for short. (needed 3 letters)

well if you want to retain the use of your steering wheel buttons then i suggest going with a comand retrofit. steve mbenznl put one in my w208 and it works great.
before my w208 i had a w202 with a full pioneer system with 7" widescreen, dvd, nav, 12 disc changer, etc and was going to put it in the w208 but when i found out id loose the function of those buttons i sold the setup on ebay and went oem. a few members have that kenwood dvd nav which is really nice too.
do a search and you will see that this topic and many of the other questions you have/will come up with have been discussed in detail. congrats and welcome to the board
