Upgraded/new style tail-lights?
Check out this thread:

I found this at the AMG owners club web-page ... and I was wondering if anyone has seen these tail-lights on a CLK series ... I've never seen this in the states ...
If this is Euro-spec ... can anyone verify if it is compatible or if this style tail light is available for W208 series CLKs ...
Everyone is upgrading the front end ... but we've got tail lights going on 10 year mark ...

Chappy ... I contacted Gert via email ... He says it should fit ... he is checking to confirm this ... he's also checking to ensure the wiring and lights would also fit as well ... those tail lights are really sharp!

Aren't they pretty close to the same tails Chappy had before he smoked his?...it also looks like his aren't as rounded at the upper right corner.

I would be amazed if something from a wagon will work on a totally different car!
I hope it does work out. Especially since you could have the LED version. Although you may have to do some work to make the control units happy with the difference in voltage drop. First things first, let's see if it fits!
Hope it works out for you!!

I'm still waiting to hear back from Gert ... judging from the pics above ... I think you and Chappy are right ... not a match.
However, when I spoke to Gert he said he thought he'd seen a CLK with the newer LED style tail lights ... I hope so ...

.........I have personally had a set of W210 E55 tail lights side by side with a set of W208 tail lights, and attempted to intall the W210 E55 tail lights into the W208. They are quite different are are definitely not interchangeable. Except if there is something different about the E55 wagon, the tail lights will not fit a W208.
