"00 or "01 structural changes??
e class had MAJOR changes that improved crashworthiness from manufacture date jan 00 and on. is clk bulit on shortenrd e chassis and did these structural changes also occur in clk and from what build date thanx

......actually, my dealer service manager explained to me once that the w208 was not built on the c or e class platforms, but was on its own platform, and the w209 was/is built on the c-class platform
