Pocono Track Day...anyone going?
This weekend, there's an open track day going on at Pocono Raceway...sponsored by a few racing clubs. Is anyone from here going? I'll be there w/ my '05 w209. It's my first time at a track day, although I've done a racing school before. Has anyone ever done these? What did you guys think of it? I'll hopefully be able to post some pics from the track day next week....

Pocono is a large tri oval. I raced there two times. My club added a chicane on one leg just to make the track course more interesting with some tight turns.
It is in a very beautiful section of the Poconos and would give anyone a great opportunity to blow out the cobwebs in their car. Remember to bring an extra set of rubber and extra brake fluid. You'll need them all.

I won't be driving out on the track, but I was planning on spectating, as I understand that there are going to be quite a few really cool cars. I'm waiting to hear from a friend of mine to confirm if we're going, and if we are, I'll PM you to let you know and maybe we'll meet up! Us 209 guys need to stick together!

p.s.) It's supposed to be a beautiful weekend too, with lots of sun and temps around 72 degrees!
