Today while driving fast and hard I noticed my throttle appeared to be sticking at 5k rpm, although I was moving at 128mph the tact never dropped - I began to slow up and then finally the needle dropped.
Question:
Is this apart of the adoptive transmission, adapting to my method of driving? Or is it some kind of fluke?
Anyway I will drive hard (as usual) on the way home and see if it happens again. Just Wondering - This Automatic Transmission Takes some getting use to...

2002 CLK 55 AMG Coupe ;)
This is typical behavior of the intelligent adoptive transmission, adapting to your method of driving.
If you drive aggressively, it will stay in the lower gears longer to provide you with the instant power surge.
If you are a lackadaisical sunday driver, the shifts will lack life, spirit, zest.
