outside temp display
Hi guys,
can anyone tell me where to get the OEM part for the temperature display LCD on the dashboard (btw, this is for 02 CLK55). Mine is bad and the dealer quoted me 1500 for it.

thats how mine started. your whole cluster needs to be replaced, as time passes you will notice more things malfunctioning. Now I sometimes cannot see what gear the car is in and the time. The buttons on the steering wheel often dont work. Its turning into a mess but I figure I'll change it when I can no longer see how many miles are on it. Then again maybe I dont want to know 
The thing is that you cant just buy one they really have to use your vin and re program everything. Let me know what you do?

The thing is that you cant just buy one they really have to use your vin and re program everything. Let me know what you do?well, when i bought the car, the dealer was offering me to pay half of the cost to replace it. I guess i'll have to take up on that offer and have it done properly.
