2003 clk 55- wheels fitment
would a set of 2006 slk 55 wheels fit on a 2003 clk 55?
Below is the wheel fitment for the slk 55. Also, do u think the rear tires are too small? Can I move this up in size?
thanks,
18" AMG multi-piece twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, (front: 7.5 x 18 ET 37 with 225/40R18, rear: 8.5 x 18 ET 30 with 245/35R18 )

While I'm not completely sure, I don't think they will fit...
Unfortunately, the offset's different. The 03 CLK55 has a 35mm offset, and it looks like the SLK's are 37 in the front and 30 in the rear. Again, I'm not completely sure though.
I'm also looking for wheels, and am having an absolute nightmare of a time finding any. Sure, I can find some if I'm willing to spend $1000 a wheel, but there very little to choose from when you're talking about reasonably priced wheels. I bought a set of Brabus Style VI wheels that cracked (3 out of the 4 wheels), so I'm not getting those again, so I bought a set of Style VI replicas which won't fit
Between the wheels, the Michelin PS2's I had mounted on them, and all of the labor costs I spent trying to have he wheels fitted (I tried having them fit w/ out spacers, then w/ spacers, and w/ different spacers), I'm into this for about $2500 and I'm right back at square one...
I'm so damn frustrated, and combined with some recent money woes, I may trade out of my car (See my Infiniti M45 pricing thread in Off Topic). Sorry to kind of hi-jack the thread here, but I just had to vent. Anyway, I hope that they'll fit for you regardless...
Best regards,
Matt

My suggestion would be to post this in the Tire area where you can get an answer from Luke. Better yet call Tire rack.
