oh yeah, back to the original topic of this thread. i think that the reason for that the W209 CLK55 is not using the S/C might be because that the S/C will cost more and bring the already scary PRICED CLK55 to even thinner air.

If they give it the same power/weight ratio as the SL55, I think about 425 HP would do. Personally though, I think 400 HP would also work - would likely keep the 0 - 60 times easily below 5 sec. IMO, breaking the 5 sec barrier is important for a car like this.
My opinion of the CLK as a 2 door coupe body style, is that it could potentially be the truest sports car the MB produces.
Ofcourse, dropping in the turbo charged monster from the SL55, would the make the CLK one of the fastest cars on the road.

Anyway, it's not like MB is ever going to listen to my advice, and they will have a line of buyers for all their AMGs irrespective of my opinions. Heck, I am more than likely going to keep my order even though I am not overly enthused about the HP stats.
