Neither was I... but... It looks sooo much better in person. But, I understand everyone's comments from the picks, which don't do the car justice. I know to each his own, but now I have so many complements on my car it is rediculous! Anyhow, thanks for everyone's input.

Specialty shop uses a spray to smoke them out. Once it is done then a clear coat is put over it so that it matches the paint in finish. No tint, although I have seen it before.

DirtyVegasMB,

I LOVE the tinted tail lights. The shop you took it to did a great job. I did mine myself and they didn't turn out as glossy as yours but I guess I'm stuck with mine. By the way, I love the Black and Chrome look it's great, screw all the haters!

Transparent black paint if you can call it that, with clear coat over it.

Your car looks very nice! I was gonna do that to my tail lights but I found out that its illegal and to me it wasn't worth the worry that I'll get pulled over. So, instead I tinted the white part of the tail lights. Window tint was used with one of those heat guns. It gave it an "AMG" look, kinda like how the SL55 has that smoked strip going through the tails. I'll try to get a better picture of the tails soon.

There's something hilarious about someone with all that chrome (chrome == tacky, to me) byaatching about someone else's chrome rims

I think he was focusing more on the actual look of the rim, and not the fact that they're chrome as I don't think a Neon even comes with chrome rims. He never posted that he hates chrome

You're not reading carefully, pal. Learn to read properly--and understand--then respond accordingly. Did I mention anything about chrome on his car? Do you actually understand what it was all about? Who the hell is talking about chrome here, you nincompoop!
...Now...read again--and talk to me.

Cheers!

The question is DID YOU? Post #16 talks about how they look like NEON rims, not how they're ugly because they're chrome. Find me a post against the chrome and then reply.

I'm sorry, Stiggs...that was my fault. The comment was not directing at you at all--rather--at 'Riot Nrrrd'--the nincompoop.

You know, Stiggs...being an ***....to some individuals--it's their kind of platform when communicating.
