Congrats on the upcoming child, Chappy.....I have 2 kids myself so let me warn you that LIFE CHANGES after you get a kid......enjoy the freedom you and your wife have now.....you can kiss that good-bye when the kid arrives...
I also have question for you Chappy. Did you happen to notice the rear seats of the C55 AMG Racing Taxi you rode in? Were there 2 individual bucket seats (as claimed in the description of the car in the AMG Private Lounge), or was there a standard bench seat?

As far as the seats, I'll look back through some photos my wife took, but I really don't remember....I was concentrating on the entry and exit followed by the ride....never looked into the back seat!

Why do you really want to attend this event with Mercedes-AMG?
Shared passion for Mercedes-AMG. Quite simply, the brand is in my blood. My passion for Mercedes-Benz (and AMG in particular) has guided most decisions on where and how to spend my free time and resources. Meeting great people is a wonderful side-benefit of being an true AMG enthusiast.
For many years, AMG has been at the center of the realization of goals and dreams. One goal was realized when I purchased my first Mercedes-AMG, a 2002 CLK55, the type also used as one of the first Formula One safety cars! When I was married last February, my wife gave me the AMG Challenge as my wedding gift (a dream since I had owned my CLK)! I attended the Homestead event last May and also had the fastest lap time of all the participants in the timed autocross.
It seems I can never get enough of AMG. Fortunately, the AMG Private Lounge quenches some of my thirst for the camaraderie of the many AMG owners I’ve personally met and become friends with over the past several years. I also help volunteer in organizing grassroots events for owners to participate in including photo shoots, track days and mountain drives…..the passion will continue.
This opportunity to be a guest of Mercedes-AMG for the Laureus World Sports Awards would enable me to realize several dreams….all in one fantastic trip!
-Be a close part of the AMG family for an extended weekend
-The possibility to meet F1 or DTM drivers, and ride in “The Taxi”
-Test my driving skills on the slalom course at the Circuit de Catalunya
-Get to Europe….I have never been!
-Experience all the fun and glamour of the Laureus World Sports Awards

Hey Chappster.....someone over at the CL55 forum is claiming this is what the new CL will look like. Can you comment on these pics? Will it look like this or are these pics way off.
