CLK55 AMG Picture Thread
LOL!!

John!
How you doing, bud!
I spent about 2 hrs cleaning the insides of the tailpipes with some very fine-grade sandpaper to work off the crap that had bonded on.
Then I hit them with some metal polish.
The following night, I headed back out to the garage with my electric toothbrush in hand!
I went to work with more metal polish using the electric toothbrush, then I buffed the hell out of the insides of the tailpipes with some soft cloths.
They're still not as I'd like them, but they're ALOT shinier than before.
I'll continue with the polishing until I am satisfied.

Car looks great.
Hey buddy, sorry for the very late response!
Yes, that's exactly what I do.
I give them a good wiping out after I drive it each time.
It was the initial "cleaning up mission" that was hard work.
I always clean the car after I drive it, so I will apply the same discipline to the tailpipes.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG

I spent a few hours surfing this forum and put together an album with my favorite CLK55 W208s, some E55s.
Admin is welcome to add this to the first page. I will continue to add to the album.

Custom widebody, OZ wheels, custom exhaust, custom interior with silver CF.
That wing is too big IMO but overall the car looks good.

Just picked this baby up last week. My first Benz - an '03 CLK55 AMG. Just set her up with KNN 33-2181 air filters and new set of staggered Michelin PS2s.
I'll need to track down some seat adjustment switch knobs and figure out how to pull the instrument cluster to replace the backlight bulb. But other than that, she screams! (but of course in a very refined manner...)

here is my 2004 clk55.
it has already the inner facelift...
I already added a bilstein B14 kit (adjustable), 15mm track extension per wheel and some smaller things... but there is still a long way to go ;-)
I will add better pics soon, just wanted to introduce myself... ;-)
greetings from germany

Schoene Gruesse aus Ca. Muss richtig spass machen mit dem 55 auf der Autobahn zu fahren. Ist dein wagen mit 250KMh abgeregelt? Oder hast du damit weggemacht?
